- Serve plain, without salt, sugar, butter, sauce, or seasoning.
- Start with a small bite and wait before offering more.
- Cook meat, fish, and eggs fully unless your veterinarian has given a specific raw-feeding plan.
What to avoid
- Avoid seasoned, fried, sweetened, buttered, sauced, or heavily salted versions.
- Do not let treats replace complete and balanced dog food.
Watch for
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Refusing food
- Unusual tiredness
- Itching, gas, belly pain, or any reaction that feels unusual for your dog
